I enjoyed it. The homey atmosphere was the highlight. The food is average to slightly above average Italian fare, but the history of the place is interesting. The service was quite good. Very attentive waiters. I counted about a dozen or so tables so reservations are recommended. Most definitely a nice break from the overcrowded Strip and its inflated prices.

Took my wife to what turned out to be some of the best Italian food she's had since she left the northeast. Joe's is based in an old house so it's very small inside but incredibly homey and warm with fantastic low lighting. This is the place for first dates, anniversaries, romantic evenings, and any one who loves warm lighting with good food. The servers were all incredibly nice and apt even when running their butts off making sure everyone was happy. Joes is definitely a happening place located close to the arts district, while there we watched quite a few people get turned away for not having reservations on a Saturday night. The employees did their best to accommodate everyone but the restaurant only looks like it sits 14 tables, which adds even more to the north east classic Italian feel, but be sure to have a reservation. The food was excellent, they serve a loaf of white bread with butter but we got garlic bread with a side of marinara and it was phenomenal. My wife the mussels in sauce and chose red sauce with a 5/10 spicy level and angel hair pasta. It was a very healthy serving of Mussels and some of the best pasta she's had in years. The chicken parmigiana is excellent, it's not a fried chicken parmigiana which I prefer when eating out and the sauce was excellent. A half carafe of house red is about four glasses of wine and was very good. The tiramisu is probably the best I've had yet with incredible coffee flavor without being overpowering and a fantastic size for sharing, it genuinely was an incredible texture and satisfied me more than any other tiramisu. Not pictured is the house salad the entrees come with which is a traditional greens salad but has the option of oil and vinegar or a cream garlic dressing. The cream garlic dressing was surely horrible for me but it was so delicious I would eat it as dip. I'm already thinking about who I need to drag here next just to get my hands on the salad dressing. One of our next door table mates was not satisfied with their ravioli but the host was very nice and tried to serve him something else on the house, which is always nice to hear should there ever be a time I am not satisfied with what I'm served. I genuinely am itching to go back and it's barely been an hour since I finished my meal.

This was a great place very welcoming and cozy. I came here looking for a place to eat in the neighborhood after shopping at the mall and one of my friends was doing his own thing. So i knocked on the door and the waiter was very friendly and able to find me a seat. Although I'm not gonna lie, I felt like I was in the wrong place. Like I was going to some underground place but definitely added to the excitement. Even though I did not have a reservation, they were kind enough to get me a table. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, inviting And you feel at home in the restaurant almost because it literally feels like you're eating in house rather than a standard restaurant. The people there were awesome and even Met a lovely couple who were celebrating their anniversary plenty of people willing to talk and chat. The food was par excellénce (I think that's how you spell it?). The presentation was awesome and again feels like it's a home-cooked meal that I would find in the north end of Boston. Honestly, I don't have a bad thing to say about this place would definitely like to try it again if I'm ever back in Vegas.

I'm always happy to enjoy a classic home cooked Italian dinner. Here at Chicago Joe's that's exactly what you will get! I love eating Italian food and especially when it's prepared the way they make it here. Although it was our first time here, we can definitely tell that it's been prepared like this for 50 years come this spring. The bread they served us with warm softened butter was very fresh, soft and tasty. My wife ordered the cheese ravioli with marinara sauce and she loved it! She said that it was the best ravioli she has ever eaten. I ordered Chicken Marsala. I always order Chicken Marsala when I eat at a new Italian restaurant because I believe that if the sauce and pasta are well seasoned/ cooked, and the chicken breast is juicy, not dry, it will definitely mean that everything else on the menu will be too. Of course the Chicken Marsala was delicious! The parsley, mushrooms, Marsala wine, butter, creamy whipping cream were combined to perfection! The restaurant is small, cozy and dimly lit for a nice atmosphere. We were served by an older gentleman who was very friendly, polite and extremely busy but had the time to make us feel welcomed and tended to. So we highly recommend you and your family, friends should visit Chicago Joe's for a great dinner experience! Keep up the great service and next time we're in town, we will return. Ps; Calling ahead for reservations is highly recommended.

This restaurant is small. I'm talking like a house with add ons, but I liked it. Best to make reservations. It was Wednesday night and pretty busy. My server was Randy. Actually he was the server, greeter, busboy/man & cashier. And he did it all well. Randy was working 6 tables simultaneously and I never once felt ignored or neglected. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and cheesy garlic bread. Both were very good. My salad was great too. Had the creamy garlic dressing. This was my first visit and I'll go back because the overall experience was on point.

First time here and I know it's a staple in town. Birthday dinner celebration! I'm still going lol It's cool that this is a house that was converted into a restaurant! Great concept! It's very old school charm and I liked that. We had the special, Maryland crab stuffed ravioli with prawns. And garlic butter sauce and chicken parmigiana. You start with a nice side salad and bread, we also ordered garlic cheese bread which was delicious! The special was really good, could have been a bit more heat hot but it was good. The chicken parmigiana wasn't the best I've had. I think the pasta and sauce should have been mixed together instead of the sauce on top of the noodles. The chicken needed a tad more seasoning :) Our server was good, personable and friendly. Overall, pretty good. Wished they were open for lunch!

Italian. Lasagna. Cozy dining. We an absolutely enjoyed our experience at this place. As you will read in pretty much every review this is an old establishment, a house converted into restaurant, you eat in what use to be a bedroom or living room that been in business for decades. All true so it's a must try. Tips: make a reservation or you probably won't get in. Get your reservation 6pm or before. Take advantage of the smaller portion menu, it's a deal. $18 gets you your choice of several dishes - I had the lasagna. Comes with hot bread and a salad with creamy parmesan dressing. The lasagna is loaded with cheese and meatballs, and everything of goodness highly highly highly recommend it. The servers are very knowledgeable. Very nice and enjoy yourself at this great establishment.
